Housing and roofs in Redlands Coast
Larger blocks, established gardens and, close to the bay, salt-laden air. Coastal exposure affects equipment choice — panel, frame and fastener corrosion ratings matter within a few hundred metres of the water — and wind loading is a genuine design input rather than a formality. Newer estates in Thornlands and Redland Bay are cleaner jobs with larger unshaded roofs.
Grid connection in this area
Redlands Coast sits in Energex territory. Your distributor decides how much you may export and must approve the connection before we install and again once the system is commissioned. Export limits depend on your supply — single-phase or three-phase — and on local network conditions, so a system size that is routine on one street can need a separate application on another. We lodge both applications as part of the job.
